Best place to shop in Jaipur

As an avid shopper Jaipur is my usual mecca. The colors and designs leave you completely spellbound. What shocks you though is that the entire city shops doesn’t believe in having a price tag for their merchandise. They take a look at you, estimate the money you are carrying, and how much you like a particular item add to it the time of the day and the tourist season. You will get a price which they expect to be bargained. So you never feel you got a deal even if you bargain hard. These guys are masters in psychology of a shopper. I always feel I should have quoted lower or the next shop I go to I will find that item cheaper. This puts a damper on my shopping experience. So for my fellow shopaholics here are some tips and shops I can recommend.
Gulabchand- it is on the lines of Meena bazaar the ladies traditional wear kind of shop in Delhi. The only shop in Jaipur I could find that has a price tag on its merchandise.Latest designs, like gota work that is so in fashion, is avalible in the most amazing hues, and sequenced dupattas that feel like you are wearing air yet so pretty. Pure cotton
Excellent variety -from kurt is to sarees to material and dupattas to gift, you will find all here. Prices are fixed and clothes have price tags. Quality of fabric is also much better that what is available at Babu bazaar and MI road.

location- near Raj Mandir cinema hall. (called panch batti)
